Knockando Scotch Whisky Distillery.

Founded in 1898 by John Tytler Thomson.
Location: Speyside region Central district Spey Valley
Water source: Cardnach spring

Old Malt Cask bottled by Douglas Laing & Co Ltd.

357 Bottles in total and finished in a Bourbon Barrel Cask Ref; 4863.

Distilled September 1994 and bottled January 2009.

Knockando Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes-

Nose; Roundly spiced, soft fruited, distinctly gristy.

Palate; Sweet barley tones preface a drier finale.

Finish; Lightly spiced - still dry, even salty now. (F)

Knockando 12 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Founded in 1898 by John Tytler Thomson.

Location: Speyside region Central district Spey Valley

Water source: Cardnach spring

Smooth, complex layers of flowery, nutty, slightly smoky notes.

Strength: 40% ABV

Appearance: Pale gold.

Nose: Sweet and aromatic, with light nutty notes.

Body: Light and smooth - a little "creamy".

Palate: Delicate, soft and fruity with a hint of almonds.

Finish: Smooth, toffee and creamy notes, becoming dryer.
