It retains the smooth, sweet taste normally associated with Irish whiskey but with its own distinctive character. The result is Tyrconnell's beautiful fresh, malty, fruity bouquet, smooth sweet taste and delicate dry finish.

Nose – Full and fruity aroma with a citrus spritzyness


Taste – A tang of oranges and lemons with a strong malt presence that balances well with the oily sweetness.


Finish – A long finish with the malt becoming more dominant.

Nose: Grassy, leafy. Herbal. Hint of charcoal, Dry.


Palate: Firm, silky, oily. Some Vanilla pod. Cereal grain flavours.


Finish: Garden mint. Very late sweetness.


Comment: Pleasant, light, sociable drinking.
