Auchriosk Single Malt Whisky 10 year old Flora & Fauna

Auchroisk Distillery, a few miles west of Keith was built on land with the water rights to Dorie’s Well, a source of very soft, good quality water.

Founded 1974 by J&B

Originally intended to secure malt whisky for the J & B Rare blend, the owners soon realised they had a Scotch whisky worthy of bottling as a good quality single malt.

First marketed under the name of Singleton,(to avoid putting off the consumer with a difficult to pronounce name). This name was eventually dropped for the distilleries true name Auchroisk and bottled under the Flora & Fauna Label

However recently the name for the distillery bottled whisky has become "The Singleton of Auchriosk"
