TASTING NOTE
Colour: Dark amber.
WITHOUT WATER:
Nose: Dark chocolate with a peppermint edge. Whiffs of cereal notes and some vanilla. A hint of ground coffee and
banana.
Palate: Waves of blackcurrants, blaeberries (wild summer fruit), supported wonderfully by a smoky / menthol note. Spicy
with liquorice and aniseed notes.
WITH WATER:
Nose: Dark orange chocolate and smoky / peaty edge deepens. Toffee notes and a hint of custard powder.
Palate: Peppermint palate develops with sherry sweetness and an orangey tang.
Body: Complex.
Finish: Spicy with a smoky edge.
Cask Type(s): First fill Sherry casks.
Whisky Style: Rich and soothing - one to savour.
