Appearance ; Pale Gold
On the Nose (Neat); Initially sweet butterscotch with lemon and lime aromas. A subtle peat smoke edge develops and lingers with a hint of coffee.
Palate (Neat): white pepper, ripe banana, coconut and plum flavours which are complemented by a lingering tobacco edge.
On The Nose with water added: Cured bacon notes with hints of honey and toasted malt. Complimented by rhubarb, blueberry and lemon aromas.
Palate with water added: Charred wood with ripe banana, peach and orange flavours. A lingering hint of mint develops.
Body: Medium.
Finish: Medium in length, smooth with a touch of smoke.
Cask type: 1st Fill Sherry Hogshead.
Tasting Style Good old rare Highland Dram.
