Balmenach Scotch Whisky 12 year old Provenance 46% 70cl Tasting Notes..

Opens with a gristy sweet character plus a barley sugar quality and develops to spicy honey'd ginger biscuits.

The very smooth palate opens sweetly spiced fruity and runs to a vanilla and toffee style with more ginger.

The finish is long , still fruitly sweet , now with spiced peaches.

Balmenach Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting notes :-

The nose is fresh and carries a distinct malty sweetness plus some light vanilla and fruit blossom.

The palate is initially sweet and fruity and develops into a creamy, white chocolate character.

The finish replicates the taste, still sweet, herbal with a tangy character reminiscent of an orange liqueur. (J)

Appearance: Pale gold, wet straw like colour

Nose: Nose warming, a fresh tobacco note initially fading into medium bodied oakwood, slightly sweet.
