Bennrinnes Single Malt Scotch Whisky 11 year old 1997 Provenance

Speyside Region

Douglas Laing Provenance Bottling

Distilled Spring 1997

Bottled winter 2009

From one Bourbon Barrel Ref DMG4822

tasting notes;

Gristy, malty, soft and dry on the nose.

Move on to a sweet palate - at odds with the nose - carrying fresh fruit (pears), and candyfloss.

Its finish is still sweet, now spiced and carries a tail of light woodland smoke (F).
