Glen Keith 35 year old Scotch Whisky

Glen Keith Scotch whisky distillery

Founded by Chivas Brothers in 1957

Location Speyside Region Straithisla district, Keith

Water source The Balloch Hill springs

Glen Keith 35 year old 52.6% Rum Cask Finish

Douglas Laings Old & Rare Platinum Collection.

Distilled December 1971 and bottled in May 2007.

One of only 182 bottles from a single cask.

Whisky Tasting Notes....
With an immediate nose of Caribbean fruits and spices;
this Glen Keith has a definite and unique rum influence; coconut and pineapple linger alongside tobacco and late smoke.

The mid-weighted body leads to a palate more akin to-a Sherry casked malt; being herbal and dry before developing into a menthol and clove with a distinct tobacco quality.

The finish lingers with a dry smoked spiciness and late peat. (F&S)
