Convalmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky 1981 Tasting Note..
Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail),
Colour: Bright gold

Neat.
Nose: Sweet, spicy aromas and hints of oak. Some perfumed notes and a little smokiness.
Palate: Smoky with dry sherry notes. Green, leafy grass cuttings with a toasted oak element.

With Water
Nose: Fruit - plums, cherries and floral notes. A touch of smokiness with some new leather and hessian aromas
Palate: Oak aromas still present. Smoke with subtle fruit and perfumed flavours. Roasted malt and cereal notes.
Body: Light.
Finish: Dry - slight smokiness.
Cask Type: Refill Sherry Casks.
