Glendronach Single Malt Whisky 33 year old 40%

Founded in 1826 by James Allardes

Location Speyside region Devron district East of Huntly

Water source Local springs

Matured only in the finest Oloroso Casks.
Tasting Notes...

The Glendronach 33 year old is perhaps the ultimate expression of the maturing art.

After 33 long years maturing in oloroso sherry casks., the result is nothing short of superb, rarely are whiskies of this distinction bottled and rarer still are they fully sherry matured.

Please take time to enjoy and savour.

In order to appreciate The Glendronach 33 year old we recommend adding a splash of water to help awaken the bouquet of the malt and release the aromatics
Limited edition numbered bottle supplied in presentation case.

With an immediate nose of Caribbean fruits and spices;
this Glen Keith has a definite and unique rum influence; coconut and pineapple linger alongside tobacco and late smoke.

The mid-weighted body leads to a palate more akin to-a Sherry casked malt; being herbal and dry before developing into a menthol and clove with a distinct tobacco quality.

The finish lingers with a dry smoked spiciness and late peat. (F&S)
